Ciara who is the Workplace Rep for Wirral Grammar School for Boys has been chosen as the North West Winner of Rep of the Year. She will now represent the region in London.
Speaking to Ciara she said ”I’m committed to supporting staff so that they have a safe and secure working environment which will also lead to a safe and secure learning environment for the pupils”.
Ciara has worked tirelessly during the local strikes speaking at our first Rally and regular picketing at her school.
Michael Farrelly (Assistant Secretary) said “We are all very proud of Ciara and the work she does. We have seen the work she has put into galvanising and organising her workplace and are delighted that she is being recognised for the energy and passion she has brought to the trade union movement”.
